Our 50th season – part 2

Breckenridge ski resort is extending the 2011-2012 ski season Friday, Saturday, and Sundays April 20-22 and April 27-29. During this extension, skiers and snowboarders will enjoy:

$50 day lift tickets
Free parking
Access to terrain on Peak 8 including the Imperial Express Super Chair from 9 am – 4pm each day
’11-’12 season passes will continue to be valid
Deals on ski and ride school classes

Thanks to requests from Breck’s Facebook fans, the resort is granting it’s 50th wish by prolonging the season an extra two weekends. Through the 50 Wishes program, Breck has granted wishes of sleigh rides, lift tickets, snowmobile rides, family outings, adventures with Ripperoo, and more and is glad to finish strong, donating the 50th wish to true lovers of skiing and snowboarding.

“We had one wish left to grant, and asked our guest and fans on Facebook what they wanted for the 50th wish,” said Pat Campbell, Breck’s SVP & COO. “We heard loud and clear – extend the season.”

This is the first time Breck has extended its season since merging with Vail Resorts back in 1996. Breck is the only resort in Colorado that has announced season extension plans so far this year.

Some restrictions to regular season promotions, season lesson passes and discounts may apply. Stay tuned here for more information.
