The Index of Coincident Indicators increased slightly (0.2%) in November and is cucurently at 100.9 (2004 = 100), the fourth time it did not register a decline since October 2008. The Index is considerably below (-3.4%) the November 2008 value (104.4).
U.S. Dollar Real Foreign Exchange Rate

The U.S. Dollar Foreign Exchange Rate increased slightly (1.1%) in January trading from December and is currently at 82.18. The dollar is well below (-8.0%) he same time last year (Jan. 2009), the fifth consecutive year over year decrease in the past 12 months.
