Kidtopia is back and bigger than ever this year with activities for kids taking place daily. It’s a festival designed just for them, a fun-filled, kid-friendly experience, but one that the whole family can enjoy! Explore the ultimate Snow Fort at the top of Dercum Mountain, dance to live music in the plaza, have fun with arts and crafts, go Tubing for 80’s Night, Enjoy free cookies at Dercum Square Ice Rink and join in on continuing education activities on and off the slopes. There’s always something fun going on for kids and their families!

	Riperoo’s Village Parade Come and join Ripperoo as he parades through the village with his Ski School friends every Saturday. Help them dance their way to the Dercum Square Ice Rink to enjoy complimentary cookies. The parade also features performers and a horse drawn sleigh bed for Ripperoo’s young friends to ride along. 	Giant Snowball Launch Do you think you can launch a snowball farther than anyone else in your family? Put your skills to the test in our giant snowball launch area and show your friends what you have got. Complete with targets and prizes for the longest launch and best aim. Take cover this activity proves to be a great time for everyone. 	Bigfoot Adventure In Search of Bigfoot Adventure Walk teaches children about the area, animals & of course Bigfoot, while they embark on a nature walk in Keystone. The adventure walk is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes long. This activity is available to children ages 5 to 12. 	Family Tubing Come experience Family Tubing the old-fashioned way – walk up and slide down a small hill. Great fun for families, especially those with young children (toddlers – elementary school kids). Tube rentals are free and are available first come, first served. For safety reasons, personal sleds or tubes are not permitted at any time. For more information, call the Keystone Nordic Center at 970-496-4275. Dates: Every Thursday starting December 3 and runing until the Nordic Center is closed for the season. 	Kidtopia Scavenger HuntFun for the whole family. Pick up a Kidtopia Scavenger Hunt stamp book and hint map at activities and dining and let your adventure begin. This fun hunt can be finished in a day or you can take your time throughout the season. The goal is to collect all the stamps available and bring your scavenger hunt book back to activities and dining for a special prize. This adventure will span across the resort on hill and within the two base areas, good luck! Dates: Available daily starting December 12. 	Kidtopia Wild Wednesday Party Come and join us at the Mountain House Base Area where there will be a fun-filled racecourse. Kids will jump, crawl, pull, and run through various kid friendly obstacles. The reward… tons of prizes for the kiddos to choose from! The party continues at 4:30pm indoors at Kidtopia Headquarters in Expedition Station where you can bump to the music with a live DJ and play fun games. There will be prizes and fun to be had by all! And don’t forget a really cool face painter too! Programming will vary every other Wednesday! 	Starquest Each week Keystone Science School will explore the furthest parts of our universe. We will provide a lesson activity, the chance to view celestial objects up close and personal and explore the winter constellations. This program will truly be out of this world. 	Snow Tubing at Adventure Point Snow tubing at Keystone! Take the River Run Gondola up to Adventure Point during the day or under the lights at night for this must-do experience for all ages. Our six tubing lanes vary from gentle to steep but all of them let you bump around, jump over hills, twist around, and smile until your cheeks hurt. With our unique state-of-the-art conveyor lift, the amount of rides you take is up to you. Opening Date Weather Dependent Location: Adventure Point – top of the River Run Gondola Reservations: Reservations are highly recommended. To reserve call 970-496-3000. 	Ready Paint Fire – Paint Your Own Art Studio Ready Paint Fire is a “Paint Your Own” Art Studio, offering pottery and canvas painting daily from 11am to 7pm. Great for all ages and no experience necessary! Choose from a wide selection of ceramic pieces such as mugs and platters or kid-tastic figurines or choose a canvas painting, pre-sketched for the little ones and step- by-step from a great variety of images for the older crowd.
