Loveland to open Saturday
The final touches are being applied to the base at Loveland Ski Area, the 2014-15 ski season will open Saturday November 1st and will be the second ski area to open for the season in North America. This comes only a day after Keystone and Copper announce their postponing. Second only to Arapahoe Basin that opened on October 17th, Loveland is fortunate to have a higher elevation which afforded them cooler temperatures to make snow. Chair 1 will open at 8:30 am and close at 4pm, one run will open with approximately 1000 vertical feet and an 18 inch base.
