OPENING DAYS:
Vail and Copper Mountain have delayed opening as a prolonged Fall has delayed snow making. Neither is committing 100% to an opening date, but we are all hopeful it will be next weekend (November 7th). This past weekend provided some good snow and the weather looks more promising. Safety is the main concern, a reasonable base (usually 18″) is needed to make sure skiers and boarders do not get hurt. While we wait, tune your skis, make sure you have your pass and pack your bag to make sure your ready to hit the mountain as soon as they do open!
