Epic Discovery
Vail Adventure Park

Epic Discovery got the go ahead from the US Forest Service.  It took a few years, but of course they got it approved, or course!  The summer adventure park is the first of it’s kind and was prompted from the Ski Area Recreational Opportunities Enhancement Act.  The area will have a zip line, Forest Flyer alpine coaster and much more, and is expected to be started the the in the summer of 2015 with hopes of opening for the summer of 2016.  Included will also be a educational trail system and other hiking and mountain biking trails, and Adventure park with a playground, an alpine coaster and an observation deck.  “It all sounds like fun, we are hopeful that it will enhance the summer experience for tourists and more will be added in the Summit County area with the success of this one in Vail” said president of Rocky Mountain Resort Management.  It should present a great experience for children and adults with fun and education for all.

Summit County has similar parks in BRECKENRIDGE and KEYSTONE and FRISCO has a winter and Summer Fun park as well.  All tolled we have some great summer parks and activities over and above all the wonderful festivals and EVENTS
